People of all walks of life since ancient times have found knots both fascinating and essential. Knots are used in sailing, climbing, tree trimming, jewelry making, and everyday tasks such as hitching a load to your vehicle.
Whether you are a novice or you have experience with tying knots, Knot Guide will assist you!
NOTE: Knots that are also known as another name are now also listed by the other name (eg. Square Knot is also listed as Reef Knot).
It is a very good app. The photos are very clean, even if the choice of a bicolour rope makes it some times difficult to understand but the arrows are a nice addition.
Categories are very broad and the same knots can appear in many of them.
Their solution for the many names is to have the same knots under many entries. That’s an easy way to grow the list but doesn’t help at understanding the many names.
In the free version there is only 12 knots with a few identical.
I know Facebook and sharing is very important for many of us but I’m not sure about sharing my finished knots.
Finally the many popups for other version and others apps are very annoying.
